Aging can bring up fears we rarely talk about openly, especially as women.
In this episode, I share my personal reflections on the fear of aging, the pressure to “be on time” in life, and how our relationship with our body deeply shapes how we experience time passing ⏳

This is about aging on your own terms: physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Why the Fear of Getting Older Hits So Hard

For many women, the fear of getting older doesn’t start with age itself. It starts with the feeling of being behind, of not doing enough, or of missing a version of ourselves we thought we should have become by now.

I talk about why this fear often intensifies in your 30s, when the first visible and physical signs of aging appear, and how external expectations around femininity and appearance amplify that anxiety.

This episode explores why this fear is so common, and why it’s not a personal failure 🤍

When Your Body Forces You to Face Time Passing

Aging becomes very real the moment your body pushes back.

I share how a herniated disc in my early 30s forced me to confront my fear of aging, loss of mobility, and the possibility of losing the active lifestyle I value so deeply.

This experience became a turning point, not just physically, but mentally. It reshaped the way I think about anticipation, responsibility, and long-term autonomy.

Aging Well Isn’t About Looks. It’s About Independence

So much of the conversation around aging focuses on appearance.
But underneath that fear is something much deeper: the fear of losing independence.

In this episode, I explain why aging well is less about how we look and more about:

  • keeping our mobility 🚶‍♀️

  • maintaining our strength 💪

  • protecting our ability to stay curious and active

Because curiosity, freedom, and learning all depend on physical capacity.

Reclaiming Strength as a Woman

Many women grow up absorbing subtle messages about their bodies: don’t be too strong, don’t be too muscular, don’t take up too much space.

I reflect on how reclaiming physical strength is not about aesthetics: it’s about autonomy, self-trust, and power

You don’t have to choose between femininity and strength. You can be both. You can be everything.

Preparing for Aging Instead of Fearing It

This episode isn’t about eliminating the fear of aging, because fear may always exist.

It’s about:

  • preparing rather than avoiding

  • anticipating rather than denying

  • building a body and a mindset that support a long, curious life 🌱

I close this episode with a simple but powerful question to help you reflect on how you want to age, and how you want to live in your body in the decades to come.
